Had a fantastic getaway with friends! We visited the nearby golf course and enjoyed stunning walks. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Just a heads-up, the furniture could use a clean, and parking has its quirks. Still, a great place for a fun trip!

Had a splendid time at Collingwood Arms! The breakfast was a real treat—plenty of choices and just scrumptious. The location is dead on, so peaceful, perfect for our Alnwick jaunt. Super comfy room too!
On the flip side, the first room we saw had nowt but skylights—no proper windows! Ended up in a lovely spacious suite, but the shower played hard to get before finally being fixed.

Just a great match for a little getaway in Cornhill on Tweed with fantastic value. The venison I had for dinner was one of the best cuts I've tasted. Consider exploring the local historical sites during your visit.

had a great time at the collinswood arms! the breakfast was super yummy, like, lots of choices and just really well cooked. the location was perf for us, so peaceful and perfect on our way to alnwick. our room was comfy n big, loved it! the staff were also really friendly and made us feel welcome.
but had a couple things that could’ve been better, like the shower took a while to get hot and the fire alarm woke us up early, kinda annoying.

I had a lovely stay at Collingwood Arms. The hotel’s atmosphere felt charming with a cozy library and an inviting fireplace. The staff were attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast options. the kipper and poached eggs were simply perfect. The room was spacious and provided beautiful views of the gardens, but it did feel slightly tired with some decor needing a bit of TLC. The shower took a while to warm up, which was a bit inconvenient. While the waitstaff were generally friendly, there were moments of noticeable delays during breakfast service. I’d suggest more focus on cleanliness. I noticed some dust in the corners and a few amenities were lacking like breakfast bowls. These small issues slightly marred an otherwise pleasant experience but didn’t overshadow the great service and delicious food. Definitely planning to return soon!

Lovely room overlooking the car park. That veggie Thai curry was a delight! Great location with a welcoming vibe.
A fire alarm at breakfast? Let's just say it woke me up faster than my coffee! And the bathroom could use a dusting—maybe it was on a spa retreat?
